Cashion, a very special little boy is learning to ride with the help of SGR Volunteers: Samantha; Amelia; Veronica; Nichelle; Katie; and Harper. These volunteers make all the difference for SGR to be able to do what we love helping families and people with disabilities work with animals.
Due to Terry’s IRD certification (Instructors of Riders with Disabilities) she has the pleasure of helping these families explore new adventures.

Cashion is doing absolutely amazing in his sessions and we have the best volunteers to help make this happen for him! So proud of you Cashy!!! ❤️❤️❤️
We were blessed by Tanya Williams giving us this pretty girl for Mo to have a companion ❤️ I have named her Lily. ❤️ the first pictures are of Mo after we buried Flo he stayed by her grave it was heartbreaking. 💔 He’s doing better today and being a gentleman to Lily and they are getting to know each other. Turkey Joe thought I brought him a mini me 😅
Really sad news. Florence (or Flo is what we called her) passed away a little while ago. She was acting “off” today so I brought her and Mo inside and tried to offer supplements she wouldn’t eat or drink. I went to check on her and she was dying, I was able to hold her while she passed. My heart hurts, but at this point it hurts more for Mo, she was his everything. 💔 if anyone has a hen needing a home please consider us, Mo is old and I don’t want this heartbreak for him. It doesn’t matter old, big, or small he will just need a friend to help heal his heart asap. He is gentle and loving. I know some may think “oh it’s just a chicken” but she was part of our family and we are so sad 😞 💔
Wanted to give an update on Doo! He had his adjustment done from Dr. Brett Wessel and he feels sooooo much better! I am unbelievably relieved and grateful how thorough he was with my boy. He is getting red light treatments and on ulcer meds, it could be a combination of it all, but he made a turn around after the adjustment! Thank you all for your support, I have been super worried and pray he stays feeling good again 💞🥰❤️
Meet Winter and Willa new residents of SGR! We took them in after their previous owners felt they were too much for them. They are sweet girls and are sisters, we will be getting them spayed very soon. We would love to get them a bigger hutch since they are going to be pretty big girls and sharing a space together. Does anyone possibly have one to donate? We would be forever grateful ❤️❤️❤️ Please think hard about bringing in a new animal. There are so many in need of adoption and bunnies are no different. They are cute and precious but also messy and require lots of upkeep!
